Our Commitment to You
At Honeypot Smoke Shop, your satisfaction is our top priority. Our policies are designed to be transparent and fair while ensuring full compliance with all regulations from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
General Requirements for All Returns & Exchanges:
• Proof of Purchase: A valid, original receipt or transaction history in your customer account is required for all returns or exchanges. No exceptions.
• Return Window: Eligible items must be returned within 14 days of the original purchase date.
• Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions of this policy.
1. Cannabis Products (Flower, Vapes, Edibles, etc.)
For health, safety, and regulatory reasons, all sales of cannabis products are considered FINAL SALE.
Once a cannabis product leaves our store, we cannot verify its storage conditions or integrity. Therefore, we cannot accept returns for reasons of personal preference (e.g., you do not like the flavour or effect).
Our Quality Guarantee (Exceptions for Defective Cannabis Products)
We stand by the quality of our products. If you purchase a cannabis product that is defective due to a manufacturing or packaging error, we will make it right.
This guarantee applies to verifiable defects within 14 days of purchase, including:
• Vape Cartridge or Disposable: Is Dead on Arrival (DOA), leaks in its sealed package, or is severely clogged upon first use.
• Dried Flower/Pre-rolls: Contains mould or other foreign contaminants.
• Other Products: Are expired, have a broken seal upon purchase, or are otherwise defective.
How to Process a Defective Cannabis Return:
1. Keep Everything: You must bring the defective product back in its original packaging. This is required for AGCO compliance and for us to address the issue with the Licensed Producer (LP).
2. Bring Your Receipt: A valid, original receipt is mandatory.
3. Minimal Use: To be eligible for an exchange, the product must be minimally used (at least 90% full). This allows us to verify the manufacturing defect without accepting a fully used product.
4. Visit Us: Our team will verify the defect. Upon confirmation, we will offer an exact exchange for the same product. If the item is unavailable, store credit will be provided.
2. Cannabis Accessories (Vaporizers, Glass, Grinders, etc.)
We accept returns and exchanges on accessories under the following conditions:
• Condition: Must be brand new and completely unused, in the original, unopened packaging.
• Timeframe: Within 14 days of purchase.
• Defective Accessories: If an accessory has a manufacturer’s defect within 14 days, bring it back with the original packaging and receipt for an exchange or store credit. After 14 days, we can assist you with the manufacturer’s warranty process.
3. Apparel & Merchandise
We accept returns and exchanges on Honeypot apparel and branded merchandise.
• Condition: Must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition with all original tags attached.
• Timeframe: Within 14 days of purchase.
